May 18th has vehicles from the Museum of American Armor on display at Newsday’s annual car show held on its corporate campus off of Pinelawn Road in Melville. Admission is free and it has become one of the most family friendly car shows in the region.

May 18^th and 19^th welcomes the much anticipated World War II Encampment at Old Bethpage Restoration Village, Round Swamp Road, Old Bethpage complete with much of the museum’s armor collection, living historians, reenactments along with an opportunity to see an entire armored column on the move through a landscape that appears to be France during the summer of 1944.
